My final project for 2D. Made my own canvas stretcher for this.
he string are made of leather. This is a bass, I am aware there are usually 4 strings... but this is a special bass. The bass I used for a reference has 5 strings.

I think you mean bass, not base. (the latter is a place where people congregate, the former is the instrument) aside from my nit-picking looks very good, I am impressed.

a lot of basses have 5 strings, its usually the lower extra B string. The lower, the bassier. im not sure where im going with this, but i really really really like your painting(?), being a muso myself....
